Some of these errors include distortion of the air that directly reaches the vanes due to other pieces of the sensor and/or the aircraft that lie in the path of the air in front of them. A few other concerns are due to imperfections in the manufacturing of the vanes and also the effect that normal flight conditions have on them. This is in regard to their slight deformations due to the wind loading and pressures exerted on them.
