Although this type of sensor is a perfectly fine way to find the angle of attack, it has some drawbacks. Since a pressure difference is needed to make the calculation of angle of attack, two separate transducer devices must be used to each take a reading of one of the pressures. A way around this however, is to use a pressure ratio device. Although this device may be used, sometimes it is more convenient to explore alternative methods that are simpler while still as efficient and accurate.
